As we look into the mildly disappointing ACC, we get a pretty fun matchup here which is expected have a lot of pace. Miami (21-9, 13-6) will head up to Carrier Dome to take on Syracuse (15-15, 9-10) to conclude their regular season.

Both teams looking to end the regular season on a high note as Miami has passed expectations this season with their play while Syracuse has not lived up to theirs. Miami can shoot the ball incredibly well as they convert 47.5% (28th in the nation) from the field while Syracuse knocks down a semi decent 45.4% (102nd in the nation). From behind the arc and behind the free throw line, both teams are practically even so we don't expect much separation from the two teams offensive wise. Where Miami has had it struggles with this team in the past and most recently as well is their rebounding, and the last time these two teams played, Miami won by a score of 88-87 while getting outrebounded 32 - 28. One major factor in that game was Syracuse having 6'11" big man Jesse Edwards that game who put up 22 points and grabbed 8 boards. Well, he has been out now since February 8th and Syracuse has had to slide in Frank Anselem into his position. Look for this game to not be as lopsided on the glass, but a tad more lopsided on the defensive end where the Hurricane's excel. Miami has been incredible at limiting turnovers while also causing turnovers to their opponents as they force 8.9 steals per game (19th in the nation) and only turn the ball over at a rate of 9.6 per game (7th in the nation). This is most likely going to be a tight game, but one thing about defense is that it travels, which we've seen with this Miami team as they have been able to beat some solid teams on the road like Duke, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest to say the least. This Miami team has been tough all season and we expect them to remain that way to close out the season.

Currently the odds are Syracuse -1.5 (-110) O/U 150.5. This game is receiving just about a 50/50 split on either side and will most likely remain at this line till game time. The play here will be to take the money line as we can get a little bit of plus money on the side we are liking.
